  188.   name or sign in the finished artwork, I am interested in designs

  190.   that look futuristic or are Cyber, Industrial but I will judge all

  192.   entries on their content and style.

  194.   It must be in LOW RES and only in 16 colours, and if you are the

  196.   winner, I will use your artwork on ALL further issues of CHANNEL Z

  218.   Well I'm getting ready to jet off on my holidays! Its customary 
  219.  
  220.   here in Blackpool to wait until the end of the season and then fly

  222.   off somewhere HOT and EXOTIC (well Benidorm!) for plenty of

  224.   SUN SEA and SE-oops sorry FUN ! ! ! !

  226.   I'll be thinking of my poor old AMY sitting there in storage in a

  228.   Warehouse (I hope they treat her well, or there will be no more

  230.   CHANNEL Z ! ! !)

  234.   It has come to our attention that there have been a few rogue VIRUS 
  235.  
  236.   KILLERS released in the Public Domain, These are actually BAD 
  237.  
  238.   versions of GOOD VIRUS KILLERS, the ones to look out for are,
  239.  
  240.   VIRUS Z version 3.12 and 3.16 and VIRUS CHECKER version 6.31
  241.  
  242.   If you come accross these versions of the above VIRUS KILLERS, I
  243.  
  244.   strongly suggest you format the disks that they are on.
  245.

  248.   While your all sitting their reading this, spare a thought for me!

  250.   I have had to type all this out twice as the first one I did, ended
  251.  
  252.   up on an unreadable disk, and there was'nt a Disk repairer that I
  253.  
  254.   tried that could fix it, so this Issue could be called 2.01 !

  258.   Bad luck to England who lost their World Cup match against Holland

  260.   in October. It looks like there won't be any World Cup Football

  262.   games for the A1200 coming out next year ! !

  266.   A question that I have been asked alot lately is "Hows CHANNEL Z

  268.   put together, are there any special utilities involved ?"

  270.   The answer to this question is CHANNEL Z is put together using

  297.   My hardware setup is a standard 2 meg A1200 with NO external disk

  299.   drives or hard drive!

  301.   Each file or program that is going onto the disk is first copied

  303.   into RAM: and then copied onto the Master disk for the next Issue,
  304.  
  305.   all this is done using the SHELL on WORKBENCH 3.0
  306.  
  307.   Each Issue takes around Seven weeks from the disk being formatted to
  308.  
  309.   the Issue being tested and ready for release.
  310.  
  311.   I have been asked to put the Mag onto TWO disks but I am not going
  312.  
  313.   to do this until some more of you write to me and tell me what you 
  314.  
  315.   think of this idea. (see ordering for more info on this)

  319.   Before I go I will tell you what you can find on this disk,

  321.   I have included the new version of D-COPY (V3.1)
  322.  
  323.   and have also included the latest version of VIRUS-CHECKER for you

  325.   to play with, VIRUS CHECKER ties in with our feature this month,
  326.  
  327.   on VIRI, Those nasty programs that Eat away at your DATA.

  329.   You will also find the new version of the workbench hack called
  330.  
  331.   AMEKO, if you copy this on to your workbench disk (the file is 
  332.  
  333.   called AMEKO_AGA) the Ameko cat will become coloured in, plus there
  334.  
  335.   is the exellent KILLAGA program!

  337.   Also on the disk is a small Quiz that you may find amusing and
  338.  
  339.   a competition to win the next Issue of CHANNEL Z.

  343.   If you press SHIFT and F9 on the main menu, you will be presented

  345.   with the "Games Menu" that contains SIX games, including TETRIS
